DNA Custom Products Releases Quality New Book Light

The item is called the Knight Book Light and is a battery-powered book light with a strong but soft clamp and a flexible head. It can be used on books or electronic devices such as iPads or Kindles.


"I wanted to put together the best features of a book light and none of the unwanted    features", says managing member Daniel Manson of DNACP. "It is durable, flexible, perfect for travel and sturdy. The clip has a soft edge so you can slip pages out as you turn and don't need to reposition the light each page."


Book lights come in all forms and sizes and clip lights have been around for a long time. When asked what makes the Knight Book Light different, Manson said "Honestly, it's just the best I found of all worlds. So many lights I used had either too big a clip and would ruin the book or make it impossible to turn pages without ripping. Others weren't very flexible or were too bright or not bright enough".


The Knight Book Light features two different levels of light. Click once for one LED light and click again for two LED lights at once. The reader is in control of how much light to shine. The portable aspect has come in handy in travel, including being used in the car or RV, and also when outdoors like camping or reading on the patio.


The feature that got the most positive feedback surprisingly was the battery door. Apparently people have had enough with broken fingernails or having to search endlessly for a tiny screwdriver. "It was very important to me to make sure the batteries could be easily replaced with no tools whatsoever, so that a child or elderly person would not have a problem. We did that and customers are very happy about that" said Manson.


DNACP opted not to use a more modern charging method but instead went with good old AAA batteries. "We had considered using rechargeable batteries with a USB charger but found that people still really like common and easy-to-replace batteries and don't want to fumble for a charger or find a USB port. We decided to give them what they wanted and the light has become very popular as a result".
