This spring marks the successful completion of their first full year in operation.
Not only have they continued to maintain a thriving business for the year but they are in the process of expanding the services being offered. Bike rentals will now be available as well as paddle board rentals.

In the Spring of 1014 he launched his own business offering summer unguided and winter guided rafting trips on the Sturgeon River. Services now also include canoeing, kayaking, tubing, biking and paddle boarding options. Multiple access points on the river make it easy for clients to choose how much or how little of the river they would like to experienced. Likewise, the abundance of Northern Michigan biking trails gives visitors a wide range of options for bike trips.
"After doing this for 15 years I am now on my own," Jacklitch said. "The business is growing and as it grows I am pleased to be able to increase the opportunities for locals and visitors to experience the natural resourced that our corner of Northern Michigan has to offer. The Summer season extends from May through October with the prime water sport season from the beginning of June till the middle of August. Winter brings the opportunity for a guided raft trip down the Sturgeon River and a chance to view wildlife that is more visible than at other times of the year.
