New Zealand Company Makes China Manufactured, With Western Standard Quality, IPhone 5 Armbands.
(EMAILWIRE.COM, September 01, 2014 ) Beverly Hills, Los Angeles -- A New Zealand company that makes iPhone 5 armbands, is out to change the perception of Chinese made products. Husband and wife team Kris and Tiffany Paul, have in the last 5 months started their own company Great Case, and have begun manufacturing and selling iPhone 5 armbands.
With health and nutrition being their passion, they wanted to use the opportunity of being in China to connect A Very Clever Introduction Video For Kiwi Company GREAT CASE's iPhone 5 Armbands. their personal life to a business opportunity. Kris had been looking at opportunities on Amazon.com and saw the IPhone 5 armband was selling well. Prior to that Kris had broken straps on 2 of his own armbands whilst exercising, and with some encouragement from his wife, they decided to give it a go.
Tiffany had suggested they use 99 designs, a website that sets up a design competition for their customers, and by the end of the competition, Great Case had received over 117 designs for their iPhone 5 armband. "We were so happy with the winning design," says CEO Kris Paul, "and to see the design on our armband, with our design on the packaging, I think the finished product really looks classy."
When the pouch part of the Great Case was finished, they still needed to source the neoprene for the strap. Kris was on his way to the factory one morning when he noticed the logo of a well known wetsuit manufacturer next door. He approached the factory and found out that this brand was indeed manufactured right next door to where the Great Case was being made.
After a trip back to the U.S and a meeting with the wetsuit company, Kris had a deal to use the wetsuit companies neoprene off cuts. The NDA (non disclosure agreement) prevents Great Case from naming the company but Kris says they have been making wetsuits for nearly 100 years. " We are absolutely over the moon," says Kris, " we have a green solution for the wetsuit company's off cuts, and we now have AAA+ certified Neoprene being used in our iPhone 5 armbands."
Great Case has been receiving rave reviews on Amazon.com in the first 2 months since the armband was launched. "We are excited about the way its going,"says Tiffany Paul, "but we are not really thinking about that, we are just so focused right now on customer support. We want to treat each and every customer they way we would want to be treated."
