New Product Hopes To Prank Your Coworkers
(EMAILWIRE.COM, April 07, 2014 ) Vancouver, BC -- Ever been annoyed by a colleague or coworker? You're not alone. Statistics report an alarming rate of dissatisfaction at the workplace with many people wishing to leave. From management to fellow workmates, the office environment can be challenging. Can a silly little creation change all that?
"I was so annoyed" laughs Marty Gage, co-creator of Moodycards, "I needed some sort of reliefanything to get through the day." And Moodycards were born.
"Mostly out of download spite, yes" laughs Mr. Gage.
Moodycards are mini like desk calendars without the actual dates. Instead, a series of funny messages and moods are expressed to represent how one feels.
"I wanted to have some fun, spice things up. A coworker sitting at the desk beside me was a good friend of mine. As a joke, I left a note on his desk telling everyone he had gone for a pee break'. That's what sheer boredom will do to you."
Without realizing it, this little prank took on a life of it's own.
"People started coming to me and asking if I could create some for them, to leave on their desk. All of a sudden, I was printing these out every day" says Mr. Gage.
"Everyone wanted one for themselves and for Funny office gifts."
While Moodycards were designed to generate a laugh, several of the messages are practical, such as Back in 5', In a meeting', Out to lunch'.
"They are a combination of funny, useful, and outright outrageous' adds Mr. Gage. "We definitely push the boundaries, without going too far. They're just a harmless Funny gift."
Mr. Gage plans to add more of them in the coming months, adding many new moods and messages.
Moodycards are currently sold only on Amazon.
Moodycards is a product created by Steve Grigg and Marty Gage. They are distributed by Webgage Commerce Inc, an online retailer and distributor.
